The Eagle
Arms and Chest
·
Do not perform this exercise if
you have any shoulder problems. Adding the weight of your child might not be a
good idea if you have any concern about your shoulder strength.
·
Place three sturdy chairs, or two
chairs and a couch, in a triangle. Be sure the chairs are sturdy. You don’t
want to end up in a pile of chair and flesh.
·
Place each hand on a chair and
then the feet, or knees, on the third.
·
(Optional) Have one of your kids
get on your back and hang on. If you decide to have a child ride on your back,
you will want to place your knees on the couch or chair. This puts less
pressure on your back.
·
Lower yourself down between the
chairs.
·
Push yourself back up.
·
When your repetition goal is met,
simply walk your feet off the couch to the ground and have your child get off.
