Living Room Motion

Living Room Motion is a variation of a workout that my son’s wrestling team does.  Since our living room is a bit smaller than the gym, things had to be altered a bit.  Performed over a period of time, this is a good multi-exercise workout that can be done with your older kids. 

***Find a room where you and your kids can move back and forth 10 to 15 feet.  You will also need a clock or a timer of some sort. 

 

Living Room Motion Steps

  1. Jog for 30 seconds
  2. Skip High for 30 seconds
  3. 20 Pushups
  4. 20 Sit-ups
  5. 20 Jumping Jacks
  6. Jog for 30 seconds
  7. Shuffle for 30 seconds
  8. 5 Foot Fires & Sprawls
  9. 10 Jacks Jumps

*Repeat until desired repetitions are done

 

1.  Jog

Jogging in the living room needs to be a little different than when jogging outside. You need to combine jogging in place with jogging so you don’t move across the room very fast.
