After that practice, the coach knew his captains, Manny and
Pedro.
The Saints captains were Reggie Buch
and Drew Breise.
The referee flipped the coin.
Reggie Buch called heads. It was tails!
Manny and Pedro picked to receive.
The Saints kicked off.
Manny returned it to the 35 yard line.
The Steelers quarterback, Daniel Snacker, said
“Thunder and Lightning” in the huddle.
Pedro lined up and at the snap, blasted through the line and did a
post. He was wide open,
no one was within 10 yards of him.
Daniel saw him and fired the ball to him. Pedro (you already know this) was as fast as
they came, went all the way without much trouble. 7-0 Steelers.
Manny kicked off.
Reggie Buch carried it back to the 20 where
Pedro nailed him. Coach smiled. With Pedro at safety and Manny at linebacker,
the Saints had to punt on three plays, gaining 5 yards. Manny returned the punt to the 45. On the exact same play as the first drive,
Pedro scored a touchdown once more. 14-0 Steelers. After
two more defensive stops and two touchdowns, both by Pedro, and it was half-time. 28-0 Steelers. The final score was 56-0. Pedro scored every single touchdown, all on
the same play.
